Two artists based in the scenic Northern state of Montana exhibit recent paintings honoring its impressive natural beauty.
 
The established Legacy Gallery will soon unveil an exhibition of landscapes by two talented painters.Aaron Schuerr and Greg Scheibel are featured in a two-person exhibition that runs June 13-23 at Legacy’s location in Bozeman, Montana. Schuerr and Scheibel will be the gallery’s featured artists during the Bozeman ArtWalk and at the artists’ reception on June 13, from 6-8 p.m.

Aaron Schuerr began his arts education at the Art Institute of Chicago and continued his studies in Scotland, where he fell in love with the landscape. Schuerr paints vivid landscapes en plein air near his home in Livingston, Montana. The majesty and diversity of nature comprise Schuerr’s subject matter, and the artist captures them with due reverence. Schuerr is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America.

Greg Scheibel is an avid outdoorsman whose emotional connection to nature fuels his painting. A longtime drywall contractor, Scheibel began selling his art in 2005 and transitioned to life as a professional artist in 2007. He has received Awards of Excellence from the Oil Painters of America, and his figurative painting “Contemporary Radiance” is currently featured in the OPA National Juried Exhibition at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vermont.
