An historic painting by Pre-Raphaelite Dante Gabriel Rossetti leads an auction that also includes works by Edmund Blair Leighton and John Atkinson Grimshaw.
Sotheby’s London auction house hosts its sale of British & Irish Art on May 22, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Presale viewings will be held in Dublin from May 8-11, and in London, from May 18-21. The auction is headlined by Rossetti’s “Pandora,” estimated at £5 million-£7 million.
