An enticing lecture offers a sneak preview of an upcoming exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
 
Anna O. Marley, Ph.D., curator of Historical American Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, will present a lecture entitled “The Artists Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement: 1887-1920,” at the Detroit Institute of Arts on October 5. The lecture will begin at 2 p.m., and a post-lecture reception and tour takes place from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Charles Lang Freer House.
