Easels in Frederick nabbed Scott L. Christensen to serve as juror for their event, scheduled for June 16-21 in Frederick, Maryland. Awards totaling more than $14,000 will be given. Host families will provide lodging, a quick draw competition will keep things lively, and the organizers say artists enjoyed record sales last year. Visit the event’s website for more information.
Canandaigua, New York, welcomes artists working in oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and gouache to the Third Annual Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition, slated for June 4-8.
