Four residencies in the Colorado wilderness are available to mixed medium artists.

Wilderness Workshop sponsors the residencies, which last two weeks with flexible dates. Artists need to be in good health and able to hike. There is a stipend and compensation for travel to the residency. Artists are expected to donate one major work and allow Wilderness Workshop to use the images created during the residency for its conservation work.

In regard to media, the prospectus says, “The artist may choose watercolor, oil, acrylic, collage; using texture, light and movement as guidelines.” For more information, go here.
