PleinAir magazine’s own Richard Lindenberg seems thrilled to meet an unusual creature in the exotic locale of New Zealand. He was part of the contingent who joined Eric Rhoads for a Publisher’s Invitational event to the Pacific country.
The painters stopped by WETA workshop in Wellington to see the operation responsible for the Lord of the Rings films. Lindenberg had a chance to commune with the famous Tolkien character Gollum. No word on whether the visitors encountered any dragons or orcs.
