Wanda Mumm found that there wasn’t much space to set up her easel on the narrow trail along Brooks Falls in Wyoming. So she hitched her setup to the fence.

Lead Image: Wanda Mumm was not deterred by the fact that her preferred vantage point was along a narrow footpath.

Mumm was using a palette her husband, Les, designed. It is made to hang on the tripod where the legs start to spread. An adjustable mast for one’s painting surface attaches to the tripod via the quick-release mount. He says he has sold about 16 of them. But evidently, the tripod is optional in some situations.

Wanda reports that her painting came out pretty well. She was participating in the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation workshop in Dubois, Wyoming.
