He’s making 2-D art outdoors. Does that make Stephen Lund a plein air artist?

The Canadian cycling enthusiast lets his GPS trace his path in British Columbia. Lund’s carefully planned routes create drawings ranging from Queen Victoria to Yoda, with stops along the way for giraffes, crocodile hunters, dinosaurs, and Michelangelo’s “David.”
