Participants at the PleinAir Convention & Expo (PACE), going on now in San Diego, are learning bunches and getting juiced by all the shared ideas and encouragement. But with Eric Rhoads in charge, one can count on there being plenty of fun, too.
An alter-ego of Rhoads evidently stormed the stage for a segment titled “Plein Air Wars,” in which painters battled to paint the best piece using a challenging palette of colors.
