The Art Center of Estes Park presents “Tetralogy: A Focus on Four” by Colorado Artist Jenifer Cline

From the Art Center:

At her upcoming solo exhibition, “Tetralogy: A Focus on Four,” Colorado artist Jenifer Cline offers art show enthusiasts a new experience. Inspired by the concept of a tetralogy — a grouping of four related creative works — Cline has assembled imaginative groupings of her most recent paintings. In so doing, Cline offers viewers the opportunity to engage with her paintings on a personal level as she invites them to create their own connections among what may, at first glance, seem to be disparate subjects.

Says Cline, “Each painting is a story that invites conversation. As an artist, I encourage people to get as close as they can to the individual paintings and, in this exhibition, to the paintings as a grouping as well. This approach offers viewers a fresh, imaginative way to create their own stories, their own meaning.’’

Cline is well known for her paintings of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Colorado landscape. Her work as an artist connects her deeply to the natural world and brings her both physical and spiritual joy. The scent and movement of the air, the light dancing over a scene, the subtle shifting of colors — these are all elements that find their way into her work.
