The 2023 Crested Butte Plein Air Invitational
Twenty exceptional painters, including Bill Anton, Josh Elliott, and Jay Moore, have spent the last two years capturing the beauty of Crested Butte, Colorado in original plein air and studio paintings.
The project culminates in an exhibition and sale on August 12-13 at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts. The main gallery exhibit continues through August 28.
The exhibition features the work of the featured painters and more than 100 Open Artists who have visited the valley and submitted their own original plein air pieces for sale.
