We’re just a few days away from a great plein air opportunity in Wyoming this weekend at the Durham Bison Ranch.  Registration is affordable and still open!  Feeling spontaneous?

Featuring 55,000 acres of open grassy prairie with rolling hills and mesas where bison and buffalo graze, the Durham Bison Ranch in Northeast Wyoming will play host to a great plein air paint out this weekend.  Kicking off on September 16 (this Saturday), artists will meet at the ranch headquarters at 11:30 A.M. to receive instructions and orientation before being transported to different painting locations.  Afterwards will be a reception at a local steakhouse with a sale.

The “Roam on Over” event—as it’s called—is hosted by the AVA Community Art Center.  This is the event’s first year and the first plein air event directed by the AVA.  To register and learn more, visit the AVA Community Art Center.
