The 5th annual Easels in Frederick (MD) was held from June 15-20, and the following awards were presented by Larry Moore, the awards judge. 
 
Jason Sacran won the Grand Prize for his painting “South and Carroll” (sponsored by Easels in Frederick Committee); Wyatt LeGrand won the Second Place award (sponsored by Everedy Square & Shab Row); Thomas Jefferson Kitts won Third Prize (sponsored by Frederick County Bank); Brienne Brown received the Landscape or Town Outside Frederick City award (sponsored by Bach & Associates, Inc., Realtors); Tim Kelly won the award for the best Architectural Subject in Frederick City (sponsored by Profitt and Associates Architcts); Neal Hughes was selected to receive the Best Use of Light award (sponsored by Evonne and Jim Reinsch); and David Lussier, Charlie Hunter, John Lasater, and Sacran each received an Honorable Mention award.

Prizes were presented to both non-juried and juried artists after the two-hour Quick Draw competition. The winners in the juried category were Tim Kelly, First Place (sponsored by Carmack Insurance Group, State Auto Insurance Companies); Wyatt LeGrand, Second Place (Linda Roth and Michael Campagnoli); and Thomas Jefferson Kitts, David Lussier, and Charlie Hunter, Honorable Mention.
