The 19th annual Door County Plein Air Festival, produced by Peninsula School of Art (PenArt) in Wisconsin, concluded its vibrant week-long celebration of creativity and community recently. More than 33 invited artists from across the U.S. painted live in picturesque Door County settings, including Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Sturgeon Bay, bringing the region’s iconic landscape to life on canvas.

Festival Highlights
• Live Outdoor Painting & Quick Paint Auction: Artists completed paintings rapidly in Fish Creek during the Quick Paint event, followed by a live auction at PenArt where the artworks were sold to enthusiastic collectors.
• Palette Pass Exclusives: VIP attendees experienced early access to private receptions, artist talks, and the Collector’s Preview, all accompanied by food, drinks, and music.
• Open Door Celebration: The festival closed with a festive, free public event featuring gallery tours at PenArt, live music by Cathy Grier, food trucks, and the final outdoor art sale.
