Don Demers - how to paint a landscape

Don Demers is a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists and a Signature member of Plein Air Painters of America. He holds a Lifetime Membership in the Salmagundi Club in New York City. And he’s earned a record 17 awards at the Mystic International Marine Art Exhibition — more than any painter in the show’s history.

His work has been featured in PleinAir Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist, and Art & Antiques.

But what his students remember most isn’t the resume. It’s the way he teaches. Patient. Generous. Clear. Nothing held back.

How to paint rocks and waterfalls en plein air

In this new Don Demers art workshop, the full painting takes shape in front of you, stroke by stroke. And when it’s done, you’ll understand exactly how it got there:

In Painting Rocks and Water in Plein Air, you get to spend a full afternoon at his easel, learning how he works. Don’t miss out on the opportunity.

And, create lifetime memories at the Plein Air Convention & Expo! All training sessions are indoors on giant, high-def screens, with plein air paint-outs in the afternoons. Beginners and pros feel right at home, so register at PleinAirConvention.com to join us.
