Kerrville, Texas, sits in the beautiful Hill Country of the Lone Star State, and each year, it beckons to plein air painters in October. Who won awards at this year’s Kerrville Outdoor Painting Event?
 
Gary Frisk won Best in Show with his painting “Off Duty.” Chuck Mauldin took Second Place with “Happy Fixer Upper.” Bruce Bingham won Third with “Rode Hard.”

There were additional categories: Best Old Junk was won by Henry Prikryl for “Buick Smile,” while Best River went to Paulette Alsworth for “Looking for Gold.” Best Hills went to Tom Hussey for “Dry Creek,” and Tina Bohlman won Best Architecture with “Old Home Place.”
