Brazier Gallery in Richmond, Virginia, held its third annual benefit for the Richmond Symphony at the end of June, and $10,000 in prizes was awarded. That’s a lot of notes. 

First Place was won by Jason Saunders for his piece “Libby Terrace.” Second Place went to Larry Moore for “Kuba Kuba,” and Third was won by Shelby Keefe for “Main Street Hustle.”

The Artists’ Choice Award was given to Jason Sacran. The following people earned Honorable Mention prizes: Katie Cundiff, Dee Beard Dean, Charles Dickinson, Trey Finney, Russell Jewell, Mark Lague, John P. Lasater IV, Anton Pavlenko, Jason Sacran, Richard Sneary, R. Gregory Summers, Nancy Tankersley, David Tanner, and Dawn Whitelaw.

The Fast and Fresh event, a quick draw competition, was won by Katie Cundiff. R. Gregory Summers took Second Place, Dawn Whitelaw came in Third, and Stewart White won Honorable Mention. The juror for submissions was Eric Rhoads, publisher of PleinAir magazine, and the judge of awards was Robert A. Johnson.
