Glenn Dean was honored for his paintings of the area around Mount Carmel, Utah, where master painter Maynard Dixon owned property that is now preserved by the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts. Maynard Dixon Country is an annual event that raises funds to ensure the preservation of this land and its access to artists. “It is truly an honor for me to have received this award, as I was chosen for it by my peers,” says Dean.
