In Thomaston, Maine, a group of plein air painters share a group show at Haynes Galleries, August 14 through September 19.
“Sunlight, Monhegan,” by Joseph McGurl
Joseph McGurl, Marc Dalessio, Karen Blackwood, T.J. Cunningham, and artists who share friendship and a kinship with the featured painters will have work in the show, which puts an emphasis on traditional training. McGurl studied at the French Academy and Dalessio is a product of the Florence Academy of Art, for example.
