Artists in the organization called San Luis Outdoor Painters for the Environment (S.L.O.P.E.) are featured in a special exhibition focusing on Montaña de Oro State Park in February.

More than 30 pieces will be on view at the Morro Bay State Park Museum of Natural History from February 1-29 in “A Visual Celebration: Montaña de Oro,” a celebration of the park’s 50th anniversary. A statement from S.L.O.P.E. reads, “We are proud to announce a very special exhibit with a tribute show and sale of inspired paintings dedicated to the park’s enduring beauty.”

A portion of the sales of both paintings and prints will go to the Central Coast State Parks Association and Montaña de Oro State Park. Several of the artists will attend the opening reception on February 4 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the museum, which is in Morro Bay, California. For more information, click here.
