Originally from California, Ed Acuna earned a BFA degree from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He spent 25 years as a successful commercial artist in the New York area.
Currently, his work is on display at Capital Gallery in Austin, Texas. In addition, Ed’s artwork hangs in the permanent collection of the United States Air Force. Ed also enjoys teaching drawing at Austin Community College.
Ed relocated to Texas in pursuit of his lifelong goal of combining his vast experience as a commercial artist and his passion for fine art to create beautiful paintings of primarily Texas landscapes, wildlife art, and portraiture.
Ed is a member of the Oil Painters of America.
