Intriguing light, expressive color and captivating views, best describe Kathleen Denis’ (da-knee) approach to each scene captured on canvas. Having a background in commercial art, and being a successful “licensed artist”, has enhanced her ability and skill as a fine art painter. As a native Floridian, Kathleen is a Signature Member of PleinAir Florida, and enjoys participating in PleinAir Paint Outs throughout the state as well as painting in her studio. She presently resides in the Florida Keys where she delights in capturing the intense colors of the tropics and the unique charming sites that someday may cease to exist. Studying under noted instructors, she passionately imparts her artistic knowledge to students through weekly classes and workshops.
