An exhibition of Jeff Sojka’s distinctive landscape paintings opens April 27 at Trowbridge Gallery, in Ojai, California. This show focuses on landscapes painted on location in the Ojai area.

“Trowbridge Gallery is honored to host this very popular landscape artist and his plein air paintings,” says Danna Tartaglia, director of the gallery. “Even though Jeff travels extensively and paints on location around the country, his favorite spot is right here in Ojai, California, where he has been a resident for many years, and where he does the majority of his painting. People easily recognize the many local subjects of Jeff’s paintings. He is a prolific painter, his art is highly collected, his style is easily identifiable, and Trowbridge Gallery always has a large selection of his works. Jeff is also happy to take on a commission project, creating a painting for the client of their favorite scenes around Southern California.”

The show closes on May 8. The artist is preparing to embark on a painting trip to Europe; he has an IndieGoGo campaign set up to fund the trip and is more than halfway to his $12,000 goal.
