Organizers of the Light Chasers event held recently in Sarasota, Florida, estimate that more than 4,000 people came to see the plein air artists in action.
Approximately 90 artists participated in the activities, which included a Quick Draw, a Paint Out, and the 5th Annual Light Chasers Member Show, which was held in the Edson Keith Mansion.
Doug Finfrock won First Place in the Sarasota Paint Out.
Top winners in the Quick Draw were Joe Palmerio and John Caggiano. Doug Finfrock won First Place in the Paint Out.
Louise Pond won two prizes in the event.

Louise Pond won two prizes: She won a prize for the Light Chasers 5th Annual Member Show and then won another in the Professional Division of the Paint Sarasota Paint Out.
