For the first time, “Catalina: The Wildside” will be held on the mainland, and it will feature artworks from a group of distinguished plein air painters.
“Catalina: The Wild Side,” an art exhibition and sale to benefit Catalina Island Conservancy, will take place on October 26 at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club. The sale will feature paintings by Kenn Backhaus, Bye Bitney, John Budicin, John Cosby, Andy Evansen, Kim Lordier, Joseph Paquet, Jesse Powell, Matt Smith, and Kate Starling.
