Ken DeWaard served as the judge for this year’s Ohio Plein Air Society Competition, and he offered a three-day workshop immediately following the event. To whom did he award ribbons?
Ann Grimaldi was the top winner, earning Best of Show. First Place went to Chuck Marshall, with Kathleen Gray Farthing taking Second and Joe Lombardo earning Third. The Artists’ Choice was Tom Cole, and the Quick Draw winner was Christopher Leeper.

Awards of Excellence were given to Susan Birgeles, Tom Cole, Rick Dziak, Ray Hassard, Christopher Leeper, Dino Massaroni, and Robert Raack.

The event was held in Cuyhoga County, which encompasses Cleveland, and was hosted by BAYarts in Bay Village.
