Registration with the 2018 Hameau Artist Retreat is open, hosted in beautiful Big Valley, Pennsylvania, between May 14-19. Headed by Susan Nicholas Gephart, the “Hameau Farm Studio Artist Retreat is a gathering place for artists to share, create, learn, and have fun,” Gephart says. “The unique studio, variety of landscape views, gourmet food, and camaraderie compel the artists to return. From the beginner to the professional artist, Hameau captures and inspires the creative spirit in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
“The week-long May and four-day-long October retreats offer day options, and are open to artists of all skill levels. They provide on-location painting opportunities throughout the rolling hills and Amish farmland of the Big Valley.
“The May annual retreat offers day options and includes the a la carte and Art Reception and Exhibition and Mentor Day. You can spend the entire week with other artists in a positive and supportive atmosphere or design a personal plan to fit your schedule and budget.
“Each retreat is geared toward the artists’ medium, level, and needs. Demonstrations are designed to support attending artists.”
