Those in the New York area on September 24 may want to join members of the famed Salmagundi Club for a plein air outing in New York City’s Greenwich Village.

Roger Rossi of the Salmagundi Club organizes several paint-outs a year for club members and their friends. It is free and informal, and a great way to paint the urban scenes of New York City with likeminded artists.

On September 24, the group will gather in Father Demo Square, at the intersection of Bleecker St. and Sixth Avenue, at 9 a.m. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for painters to gather for lunch after capturing the nearby scenes.
