Act quickly if you want to be considered for the 2016 Santa Fe Plein Air Festival, slated this year for June 3-10.

The deadline for entry is February 28 for this event, which attracts top talent and awards more than $17,000 in prizes. Pieces will be on exhibition at InArt Gallery in Santa Fe through July 4.
A competition within the competition has its own prizes; participants are invited to enter the Enchanted Skies Award Event. Albert Handell will serve as judge for that event.
Frank LaLumia will serve as awards judge for the overall competition. LaLumia is offering a four-day workshop immediately after the Santa Fe Plein Air Festival. The selection judges are Shelby Keefe, Gary Kim, and Karen Margulis.
