An artist at the SKB workshop explains aspects of composition to a Dubois, Wyoming, high school student.

Each year, more than 100 artists gather in Wyoming for the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation’s workshop in Dubois. All the artists and the instructors set aside one morning to mentor teen painters from the local high school.

The art teacher at the school, Danita Sayers, says students from Dubois regularly take top prizes in art on the state level because of the mentoring and support from SKB.
