Las Vegas painter Tom Wezwick found himself with a broken easel that was supposed to be holding a painting in progress. He had a rat trap handy, and the rest is artist-rigged history.
“The top of my easel broke, and the legs. I had a rat trap, and it had a lot of spring to it — and somehow I kind of liked the idea of using a rat trap,” explains Wezwick.
I am excited about the return of Plein Air Magazine, one of, if not the only favorite one I truly enjoy. I am a Plein Air artist and all the editorials and written content is full of the best information. Thank you for the return.
Will there be a 2012 NYC plein air exhibit?
If so I would like to submit.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Gordon France
