Matt Chinian says he was about 15 minutes away from being finished with a plein air piece last week when the wind knocked it into the snow. He finished it the next day with minimal problems.

“Sometimes there are surprises — you can’t let it ruin the day,” says Chinian. “Just pick it up, see what you got, and go from there.”
