Two Rivers Plein Air Festival to take place in New Braunfels, Texas, April 30 through May 3, 2019.
“After a few years of planning, we have put together many resources and now, along with the City of New Braunfels, the Chamber of Commerce, and the New Braunfels Art League, we have an abundance of community support and are able to offer over $8,500 in prize money,” says Janet Chang.
More from the organizers:
“In conjunction with the Two Rivers Plein Air event, we will host a workshop by notable artist Bill Gallen of Santa Fe, NM, April 26–28, 2019.
“You will love our beautiful little town nestled on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, filled with historic sites, two beautiful rivers — the Comal and the Guadalupe — and the quaint ambiance of our German heritage, all of which are just waiting to be painted. A little secret: We’ve been told that in the spring of 2019 the Texas wildflowers will be the most spectacular they have been in many, many years.”
The deadline for Two Rivers Plein Air is February 1. For more details and to apply, visit www.tworiverspleinair.com.
