Artists came from as far away as Florida and California to compete at the Bucks County Plein Air Festival in Pennsylvania, the region that inspired some of the most acclaimed representational painters in history. Who won the hardware?
 
W. Jason Situ, traveling in from El Monte, California, took Best of Show and the Alan Fetterman Fine Arts Medal. Elise Phillips earned another win this spring — First Place. Jacalyn Beam won Second Place, and Bill Farnsworth, of Venice, Florida, won Third. Joseph Gyurcsak, Kathleen Hudson, Ken Karlic, and Crista Pisano won Honorable Mention.

Dorothy Hoeschen won the Bucks County Resident Artist Prize, and Alison Menke earned People’s Choice. The Quick Draw resulted in three winners: Hiu Lai Chong, Ray Hassard, and Debra Latham.

The jurors were Kenn Backhaus, Alan Fetterman, Al Gury, and Lisa Tremper Hanover. The Bucks County Plein Air Festival was organized by the Bucks County Community College, Alan Fetterman Fine Arts, and Central Bucks Chamber Commerce.
