Louisiana is located about 70 miles north of St. Louis. Organizers report that 28 artists from three states created 38 pieces in the September 13 event. Participating painters were allowed to also show pieces completed previously.

“The weather began a bit on the chilly side with the temperatures in the 40s and a wonderful floating fog along the river,” says Martha Weston, a member of the organizing committee. “Overall, this was a very successful event for the town, the artists, and visitors.”
