The Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival — known as ESPAfest in Arkansas — wound up last week with Nyle Gordon and Richard Stephens enjoying considerable success.

Gordon won a passel of awards, including Best of Show — Beaver Bridge Paint-Out People’s Choice, Beaver Lake Paint-Out People’s Choice, and Historic Eureka Springs Purchase Award. PleinAir magazine sweetened the Best of Show win by attaching $1,100 to it for the winner.
