Kathy Rubado and Carol Schweigert are the featured artists in “2 Looking @ 4,” an exhibition that was more than 18 months in the making. Materials for the show stated, “Painting in ‘open air’ provides a dialogue with the environment, challenging the elements for an authentic experience.” Comments Schweigert, “I like the vitality and physicality of plein air painting. It hints of extreme sport, with police encounters, slippery slopes, and lightning storms.”
