There are dish stores, and then there’s Fishs Eddy. The retail store, located in New York City’s Flatiron District, is hosting a plein air exhibition, and for fans of Fishs Eddy, this comes as little surprise.
Six New York plein air painters — Enid Braun, Leslie Concannon, Robin Kappy, Yuri Ohara, Vincent Pinto, and Tony Winters — are featured in “Plein Air En Site,” on view through January 1.

“As avid art lovers, it took less than two minutes to decide who the gallery at Fishs Eddy belongs to for the first exhibit- — the unsung heroes of the art world,” say the owners on their website. “Artists who have been out in the field year after year, decade after decade, perfecting their craft and following their internal drive to paint.”
