This plein air piece was painted on the afternoon of April 2nd, 2015, looking south from the Mission Gallery down Main Street in St. George, Utah. Brad was participating in the 8th Annual New Visions Art Show which takes place each spring concurrently with the St. George Arts Festival. Setting up an easel on the curb of a busy street is an intimidating prospect, and it demands a quick gestural style of painting. The artist has reflected on the process of painting moving subjects in his latest blog entry, and viewers are invited to read it when they visit his website: www.jbradholt.com.

Brad will be attending the upcoming Plein Air Convention, and he hopes to see many old friends, and meet many new ones.

Some of the upcoming events Brad will be participating in include: A Kolob Society show at the Red Canyon Visitors Center, The Southern Utah Invitational at SUU, The Everett Ruess Plein Air Competition, and The Zion Plein Air Invitational.
