Ken Auster, John Budicin, Joseph McGurl, and Ralph Oberg are among those exhibiting works in a show to benefit environmental preservation.
The Art in Nature Alliance, a partnership of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, the Plein-Air Painters of America, and the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, has organized a fundraising exhibition to support the preservation of the San Dieguito River Valley. “The Legacy of the Land” runs March 21 through May 3. The show will feature 120 paintings of California’s diverse landscape. Participating PAPA members include Ken Auster, Kenn Backhaus, John Budicin, Lorenzo Chavez, Gil Dellinger, Kathleen Dunphy, Lynn Gertenbach, Raleigh Kinney, Joan M. LaRue, Jean LeGassick, Robert Lemler, Joseph McGurl, Ned Mueller, Ralph Oberg, Ron Rencher, Ray Roberts, Randall Sexton, Matt Smith, Kate Starling, and Brian Stewart.
