Get your materials together now to meet an April 1 deadline for the Black Range Artists Plein Air Competition in New Mexico.
The event is a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Research Hospital, with 20% of artists’ sales going to the institution.
More than $2,400 in prizes will be awarded at the competition, which is scheduled for October 7-11. The base of operations will be Deming Arts Council, with plein air painters working in and around Silver City and Deming, New Mexico.
