Artists may submit work via the Plein Air Palm Beach organization for an upcoming museum show at the Cornell Museum of Art in Delray Beach, Florida. But the deadline is nearly upon us.
The deadline is October 19 for submissions for the show, which will run December 16, 2014 through March 8, 2015. Paintings must be plein air depictions of scenes in the Palm Beach area. This is a juried event. Accepted artists will be notified by October 30. There is a $30 non-refundable entry fee. Artists will receive 80 percent of sales.
To enter, visit this page to submit images. You will need to pay the entry fee here. For questions, e-mail Pati Maguire.
Maguire, one of the organizers of the event, is also the subject of a solo show, on view at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County’s Lawrence A. Sanders Foundation Artist Resource Center in Lake Worth, Florida. It’s up October 18 through November 15.
How can we find out if it will be in our local areas – or what can we do to make sure it IS in our local areas?
If you hear of listings for viewing locations in the US, might you post them so we won’t miss this wonderful opportunity?
