Karen LaValley found a gorgeous spot from which to paint. Here’s how it went.
“It was a while ago and it was starting to get cold,” LaValley recounts. “There were cosmos planted along the reservoir here in Columbus, but they were being cut down. I called Parks and Recreation and they waited to cut the rest of the cosmos down until I finished my painting, which I thought was really nice.”
LaValley painted two pieces from that spot; both are on view at Art Access Gallery, in Bexley, Ohio.
