On October 22, the Catalina Island Conservancy will host the Seventh Annual “Catalina: The Wild Side Art Show” featuring the works of 10 nationally recognized plein air artists!

“The artists capture beautiful portraits of the Conservancy’s protection and restoration of the Island,” says Tony Budrovich, president and CEO of the Catalina Island Conservancy. “This event is an exceptional opportunity to support the Conservancy’s unique use of art for conservation’s sake.”

Of course, Budrovich is referring to the 7th annual “Catalina: The Wild Side Art Show,” which opens at the Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, California, on October 22. From Avalon to Two Harbors, 10 nationally known plein air painters have focused their creative attention on the lands stewarded by the Catalina Island Conservancy — “the wild side,” as it’s called.
