The deadline is Jan. 31 to apply to Easels in Frederick, a plein air event juried by Jim McVicker, with $14,500 in prize money available and Dee Beard Dean serving as awards judge. The event features a two-day sale and a quick draw. Only 29 artists will be invited to participate.
