Through December 6, the Jepson Center, part of the Telfair Museums in Savannah, Georgia, is hosting Plein Air Savannah, an exhibition showcasing the work of local artists.

“A Salute to the General,” by Lori Keith Robinson, 2015, oil on panel

“Peaches and the Smoke Spot,” by Jonathan Lee Shannon, 2015, acrylic

“Intercostal Waterway From Skidaway Island,” by Carol Otto Cole, 2015, oil

The show “brings together a body of work created by professional artists, self-taught artists, and students that feel a great desire to capture the beautiful environment they live in and translate that beauty to canvas,” according to Kayla Medina, a spokesperson for the Telfair Museum.
