About the artist:
In spring, summer, fall, and even winter in northern Minnesota, Lisa can be found painting all around town and far beyond. Her paintings have won awards in national competitions from New York to California, New Mexico to Minnesota. A few awards from 2015 include: Best Pastel in Plein Air Magazine’s June/July salon, Best In Show at Paint the Point-Winter, Mineral Point, WI; First Place Pastel at the ERAAA National Show in Elk River, MN; and First Place- Lake Country Pastel Society (MN). Lisa’s work will be featured in a pastel demo article in Plein Air Magazine’s Dec 2015/January 2016 issue. Lisa is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, holds Master Circle status with the International Association Of Pastel Societies, and in 2010 and 2012 her paintings were chosen for inclusion in the American Pastels Exhibit at the Butler Institute Of American Art.
