The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) has announced its annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational “Catalog Art Show.” It continues through October 16, 2023, and is followed by a post-invitational gallery event October 19-30.
The Catalog Art Show features one painting by each of the 35 artists invited to LPAPA’s 25th Annual Invitational (October 7-15, Laguna Beach, California).
On a historical note: As early as 1886, plein air painters came to Laguna Beach to paint the clear and intense light that characterizes the sheer natural beauty of this coastal community.
