One of the fastest-growing and most well-received plein air events of the season is accepting applications from artists now.
EnPleinAirTEXAS is scheduled for October 22-29 in San Angelo, Texas, a picturesque town that is very friendly to artists. The juror for the show is Kenn Backhaus, and Roger Dale Brown will serve as awards judge. The event boasts more than $16,000 in cash awards, and last year, sales topped $220,000.
Jason Sacran, the Grand Prize winner of last year’s EnPleinAirTEXAS event, says, “They sell a lot of paintings. Their buyers are so enthusiastic, and the organization is so friendly.”
