Artist and instructor Ned Mueller is anchoring a show at the Seattle Design Center this summer, and Washington painter Jim Lamb was recently celebrated at the Governor’s Mansion for the opening of a year-long show at the mansion’s gallery.

Ned Mueller will be one of four Washington painters featured in a show at the Seattle Design Center this summer.

Mueller joins three other members of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters — Mike Casad, Frank Gaffney, and Harold Johnson — at the special exhibition, which opens June 20 and will be on view until August 15.

Lamb’s show at the Governor’s Mansion in Olympia, Washington, is titled “Impressions of Washington” and features his oil paintings of that Pacific Northwest state — some painted just for this exhibition. Lamb’s work appears in numerous public and private collections, including the National Football League, the Smithsonian Institution, the Pentagon, the Smithsonian National Postal Museum, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wisconsin, and the Montana Historical Society.
